We enjoyed a week at sea visiting cities in Alaska along the Inside Passage. You'll love it if you enjoy spending a week with a ship full of elderly folks and eating mediocre food for a week (just kidding/kind of). We stopped at Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Victoria BC and Seattle. We'll never forget seeing the Mendenhall and Hubbard Glaciers and spotted several whales swimming along the ship.
The boys were most excited about visiting the Seattle Space Needle- go figure! | | |
| He played a Rooster along side Chicken Little. I made the costume for under $10. He'll forgive me for the humiliation because I'll destroy all proof that this costume ever existed (especially the yellow tights and rubber gloves).

| On April 11th, after three long years, Brendon finally earned his Black Belt at nine years old. We had to write a letter to him as part of the ceremony. Here is what we wrote to him... Brendon, Congratulations on receiving your black belt. This is an accomplishment that was only realized by your hard work and dedication for the past three years. Son, we think of you with so much love and pride for the young boy you were and the young man you are becoming. Since your birth you have been an absolute joy to our hearts and a blessing to our lives. You are the sweetest and kindest boy we know, and we hope, in all aspects of life, that you think of yourself with as much esteem as we think of you. In doing so, respect for yourself will become respect for others. Just remember to just do two simple things in life: 1. Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and strength. 2. Love others as you love yourself. These truths, combined with your strength in character have the power to change the world! We are so proud of you. With Love and Respect, Mom and Dad
